NewBay Media LLC was formed in September 2006 following the acquisition of selected assets from CMP, including Pro Sound News, System Contractor News and Guitar Player. In July 2007, NewBay acquired IMAS Publishing Group, including Television Technology, Radio World and Pro Audio Review.
