History
NewBay Media LLC was formed in September 2006 following the acquisition of selected assets from CMP, including Pro Sound News, System Contractor News and Guitar Player. In July 2007, NewBay acquired IMAS Publishing Group, including Television Technology, Radio World and Pro Audio Review. In December 2009, NewBay acquired select assets from Reed Business Information, including TWICE, Broadcasting & Cable and Multichannel News. In February 2011, NewBay acquired select assets from Penton, including Mix, Electronic Musician, DigitalContentProducer.com, Radio and Sound & Video Contractor.
